Frankly, the oatmeal cookies are my favorite. I love the taste of baked rolled oats, combined with the nuts and sweet raisins. There are few oatmeal cookie recipes in my blog already, like Oatmeal Cookies from Maryana, Classic Oatmeal Cookies, Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, and Oatmeal Blueberry Chewy Cookies. So, what is different this time, you ask. Well, I’ve decided to add the chocolate, raw cacao to be exact, to the cookies. The result was amazing. Actually, the cookies turned out so well, I had to bake them twice in the last two weeks. Also, by using the coconut oil instead of butter or other oils, I was able to reach the “melting” effect, that pleasant feeling you get when you start to chew the cookie.
